Quick and easy access to a world of chords within any major scale

It's amazing how much can be achieved simply by using one of the 12 major scales. In musical language this is called diatonic harmony and used to it's full potential it can uncover a world of chords from beautifully simple to intriguingly complex.

Triads

Create triads at the click of a button and let the toolbar help you stay on track as you play around with all of the possible triad positions and inversions within a scale.

Move and invert your triads closer for a natural transition from chord to chord. Intuitively create your bass and top melody with meaningful harmonies in between.

7th chords

Take things a step further with 7th chords adding tension and interest as you invert and move them up and down.

A 7th chord structure can be a 7th chord or a more extended chord depending on where you move the bass. Everything snapping to the scale makes it easy to find a working combination.

Extended chords

Enter the world of extended harmony with up to 6 notes in a chord for even more complexity and interest. As well as a sound spanning over more than just an octave.

Get a wider sound and glue your chords together with 7ths, 9ths, 11ths and 13ths.

• All of the generated chords include unique velocity variations that stay intact as you invert and move them within the scale
